Latest #BravectoCares sponsorship keeps cats healthy and happy

The tough financial climate has seen many South African non-profit organisations losing out on regular funding. Through its nationwide #BravectoCares campaign, Bravecto® has been able to ease the burden on many animal welfare organisations by sponsoring thousands of Spot-On treatments, with the latest recipients focused on cat health. Communities nominated and voted for cat welfare organisations through the ‘Bravecto South Africa’ Facebook page using the #BravectoCares hashtag. The finalists were announced on Facebook, and supporters then voted for the winner through comments on the post. This November, Foster Love Animal Rescue in Cape Town’s southern suburbs was announced as the final winner to receive a sponsorship of 1 200 doses of Spot-On treatments. Foster Love is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of animals, primarily cats, with a focus on felines in disadvantaged communities around Cape Town. Commenting on the incredible Bravecto® sponsorship, Kim van Stigt from Foster Love said: “This is a truly wonderful sponsorship – most of the cats and kittens we take in are riddled with fleas which cause major discomfort and a variety of diseases. This is a huge help in addressing the problem.” And the generosity continued with #BravectoCares sponsoring a further 400 Bravecto® Spot-On treatments to NPO Raise ‘n Rescue (www.raisenrescue.org.za) who are in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, with foster homes in the Bellville area.
